| 2019 - Scottish Highlands |
On the first week of September I had few days, 5 to be exact, in the Scottish Highlands. We were very unfortunate with the weather but it's Scotland, if I don't have at least rain one time a day I'll riot 😁
It was the fourth time I was going to this beautiful country and this time I was around
Gairloch.
We stayed at a B&B near the coast (walking distance) with an exceptional view.

Right on the second day we went on a zodiac for a
whale watching and we did see some amazing things and animals : harbour porpoises, commons dolphins, minke whales and a puffin !
I don't have any footage or picture during the boat trip though, only this one :
As you can see, I should have had amazing video and pictures of the dolphins to share but unfortunately my Gopro's battery died and nothing recorded...
The experience was amazing and the dolphins were extremely curious of my stick and came very close to see it a bit better. Some of them even did some jumps in front of it. But it was for my eyes only this time.
Last year I already had a similar experience with dolphins, but this time the Gopro worked perfectely, if you're interested to see the footage it's right

The next day, Wednesday, was probably the worst day, weather speaking. Extremely windy and very rainy, the night we even had a quite big storm. But it was also, between two clouds, a beautiful day for the colors the sky was offering us.

Overall, we've had bad luck with the weather this week but this country is so beautiful that it doesn't matter too much to get soaked !
